JAILBREAKER is a brutally challenging platformer which you play using only one button. Find your way out of your confinement and bask in a cryptic, retro atmosphere while evading dangerous traps that halt your ascent. Reach the paramount. Reach.

Features:

  • One-button Control - Run, jump, slide up walls, float in bubbles and perform somersaults; all with the press of a single button. A very simple control scheme with robust mechanisms behind the scenes to provide forgiveness and experimentation.
  • Hand-crafted Levels - 3 worlds, 60 levels, different mechanics and puzzle-like design. Each floor is unique, and every world introduces a slew of mechanics to keep you interested.
  • Fine-tuned Difficulty - Progressive difficulty with a steady learning curve. Each floor is fairly challenging but bite-sized, and the replay is instantaneous.
  • Short, but Sweet - Easy to pickup and finish for those with a busy life. It can be finished in 1-3 hours, or while eating breakfast. It can be...

And remember, if you feel frustrated, you can always take a break. The paramount will never leave you. It mustn't.

Hiii, I've made a video completing the demo and wanted to share it with you along with some feedback about it ^^, hopefuly it helps :D

-The concept and the way the game starts it's quite good and interesting.

-The gameplay mechanics are pretty good, well implemented, fun while being challenging. Maybe improving the tutorial a little bit could help the player to better understand how the "wall jump" mechanic work since it took me sometime to figure out how the momentum in it actually worked.

-Visually the game is pretty well designed and it's quite enjoyable while fitting perfectly with the theme of the game.

In conclusion, the idea is great and I hope you keep working on it. Hopefully this is useful for the development :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Hey, thanks for playing. Your feedback is very helpful, and I'll see what I can do to explain the mechanics a bit better.

You are welcome ^^, happy to see it was useful :D
